Special Features: Silk Complex™ is Interface’s first luxury vinyl tile (LVT) collection that uses a system of products to create transitions across the floor. Reflecting the increasing sophistication of LVT flooring, the collection builds on the company’s long history of creating carpet tile transitions with pattern, color, and texture by using distinct design details like contrast, sheen, and embellishment to bring emotion and organization to interiors and to influence how occupants experience a space.
Silk Complex’s three styles can be combined in various ways, producing transitions that can be used to enable wayfinding, to define space, or to establish hierarchy within the built environment. Silk Complex is made with 39% recycled content, and the products are GreenCircle Certified as recyclable at end of life through Interface’s ReEntry® Recycling and Reclamation program, the only third-party certified recycling system among North American flooring manufacturers. Like all Interface flooring products, the Silk Complex collection is carbon neutral across its full product lifecycle through the third-party verified Carbon Neutral Floors™ program.

There are two sides to every story—and Interface’s Silk Complex™ LVT collection tells a particularly nuanced narrative. Its multifaceted materiality merges opposing textures, patterns and colors to create drama that can be dialed up or down, and the resulting contrast in surface reflectance ushers in light-capturing moments on the floor like never before.
From soft, subtle tone-on-tone looks for restorative environments to bolder moments that punctuate places and spaces, Silk Complex has it all. Showcasing a sophisticated, brushed matte texture that is reminiscent of silk fabric as well as metallic accents, the collection includes three styles – Shantung™, Dither Silk™, and Silk Age™. Each style works beautifully on its own, or they can be combined for a more dramatic effect across the floorscape. Shantung delivers graceful simplicity with a matte texture inspired by woven silk, while Silk Age offers a gilded look that uses bronze, silver, or gold inks to achieve a beautiful shimmer across the floor. Dither Silk introduces a dappling of metallic flecks and serves as a bridge between the two other styles. Together, these products offer versatility through refined transitions that can be tailored to a designer’s preferred intensity.
