Special Features: The Lost Palms collection provides designers with a rich material experience and the chance to use scale, texture, pattern and color in new ways. The collection’s five large-format tiles – available in either 1 m x 1 m or 50 cm x 1 m constructions – offer unique opportunities to play with scale. Also, because Lost Palms includes nine styles with a wide variety of textures, it enables the juxtaposition of smooth, lower-pile looks; super-plush options that deliver extreme visual depth; and patterns with dynamic pile heights, made possible through advanced tufting technology. By combining multiple styles, it is possible to create textural differentiation that both adds to the aesthetics of a space and can be felt underfoot.
No stranger to innovation, Interface produces the Lost Palms collection using processes and materials that result in a low carbon footprint, like 100% recycled content nylon. Eight of the styles are available on CQuestGB™ backing – a construction of post-consumer carpet tiles, bio-based additives and pre-consumer recycled materials that is net carbon negative – or CQuestBio™ backing, which is a non-vinyl backing made with biopolymers and bio-based and recycled fibers that is net carbon negative. In fact, the company’s carpet tile portfolio offers the lowest carbon footprint in the commercial flooring industry – before offsets.
The Lost Palms collection is also GreenCircle Certified as recyclable at end of life through Interface’s ReEntry™ Reclamation and Recycling Program, which is the only third-party certified recycling system among flooring manufacturers in North America. And, like all Interface flooring products, the collection is carbon neutral across its full product lifecycle through the third-party verified Carbon Neutral Floors™ program.

Description
Capturing the varied beauty of a rugged, southwestern landscape, the Lost Palms™ carpet tile collection from Interface® builds upon the company’s history of looking to nature for design inspiration, while also allowing designers to explore a spectrum of texture, scale, and pattern.
Lost Palms is a truly monumental collection that celebrates biophilic design, with visuals that evoke natural elements ranging from metamorphic rock formations to the distinctive Joshua tree. The collection’s nine styles include a multitude of textural variations, a range of large-scale and small-scale patterns, and looks that showcase everything from stone visuals to mid-century elements.
Lost Palms includes five foundational styles that provide a more literal interpretation of rocky terrain. Jumbo Rock™, Cap Rock™, Keys View™ are smoother, lower-profile designs that reflect the look of stone formations polished by erosion, while Desert Veins™ and Ribbon Rock™ emphasize texture, with the former highlighting cracks within its “stone surface” and the latter featuring a super-plush pile and marbling. Available in either 1 m x 1 m square tiles or 50 cm x 1 m planks, Interface intentionally designed these products at a larger scale to mimic the grandeur of the region.
The collection also includes four accent styles that give designers the opportunity to play with more whimsical patterns in earthy colors. Desert Ranch™ delivers a highly textured, classic southwestern look that is perfect for zone creation, while three companion styles from the company’s specialty design brand, FLOR® – Yucca Tree™, Valley View™, and Desert Tree™ – usher in a modern, Palm Springs aesthetic that leverages shades of terracotta, olive, light brown, and dusty blue.
